Matric Result 2025 Karachi Board of Education
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) was founded in 1950 by the Government of Sindh to oversee and conduct secondary-level (Matric) examinations across the Karachi region. Given Karachi’s vast population, the responsibility of managing Matric (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC) examinations is divided between two separate bodies—BSEK for SSC and BIEK for HSSC.
BSEK is responsible for conducting SSC Part 1 and Part 2 exams annually. In past years, such as 2018, over 159,000 students appeared in these exams, with participation from both regular and private candidates—87,374 boys and 71,681 girls. Faria Asif secured first position that year with 799 out of 1000 marks.
Most schools in Karachi, whether public or private, are affiliated with BSEK. The exams are typically held in March, and the results are usually released between September and October.
